When the lake is unusually low some of the boat ramps will not extend all the way into the water and the authorities close those ramps. In some cases, if the water is forecast to continue falling, they may close them before the bottom elevation is exposed. So, your best bet is to check with the appropriate agency.
You can get a general idea by comparing the “Latest Observation” below with the “Bottom Elevation” from the chart. If the “Bottom Elevation” is above the “Latest Observation” it is likely that ramp is closed.
When the lake is unusually high, some of the ramps are totally underwater. If the “Top Elevation” shown below is below the “Latest Observation” the ramp is likely to be closed.
