The largest festival in the region is here starting Thursday — the 38th annual Virginia Lake Festival, unfolding over a four-day span through Sunday in Clarksville on the shores of Buggs Island Lake. The fun gets started Thursday, with the launch (weather permitting) of tethered balloons at the Lake Country Business Park on Noblin Farm Road in Clarksville.
